About

VIOLA KORIR

I design products by bringing together existing things, people and ideas into systems that make life more useful, meaningful or beautiful.

The work

Not a shop. A studio with a catalogue.

Almost nothing here is invented from nothing. A plant already exists. A planter already exists. A grower, a printer and a delivery rider already exist. What did not exist was the arrangement — the decision about which plant, for which moment, in which planter, with which words printed on the card, delivered on which day.

That arrangement is the product. It is designed once, tested, priced, documented, and then it can be made again and again without losing what made it good.

Everything in this catalogue is built that way: as a complete experience someone can buy in one decision.

How things are made here

A product is finished when it can be repeated.

  1. 01

    Notice

A moment, a problem or a gap that keeps repeating.

  2. 02

    Assemble

Existing things, people and expertise brought into one system.

  3. 03

    Test

Made, given, used, and honestly reviewed.

  4. 04

    Repeat

Documented so it can be made again without losing the idea.
